As many of you are no doubt aware, in a couple of weeks from now, Marty McFly will come to a very different 2015 than he saw in Back to the Future Part II (1989). We don’t have flying cars, self lacing shoes, dust repellent paper, or Jaws 19.
But there’s one more thing that we do have!
That’s right. Starting October 21st, the day Marty McFly traveled into the future in the film, you will be able to get your hands on a limited edition Pepsi Perfect bottle with actual Pepsi inside. According to Pepsi it will not contain a new flavor, but it will have Pepsi made with pure cane sugar. 6,500 bottles will be sold by Pepsi at $20.15 each, commemorating the year, obviously.
They will also take a good number of them to the New York Comic Con and they will give them out to people dressed like Marty McFly, so if you’re in the area and going to NYCC, you might as well go for it.
We tried to reach Pepsi’s marketing department for comment on where the Pepsi bottles will be distributed, but couldn’t reach anybody yet. Also worthy to note that the bottles will be available in stores and online, but I bet they go fast.
